The CMPASS Geospatial Professional Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership, innovation, and dedication to the geospatial profession. The award honors professionals whose work has made a significant contribution to the advancement or application of geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial technology, spatial data, or related fields. Recipients may be recognized for exceptional technical accomplishments, innovative projects, leadership in developing or advancing GIS programs, contributions to professional practices, or efforts that have strengthened the geospatial community.
